Linda's medical expenses for Glioblastoma Stage 4

Ive started this Gofundme to try and help one of my moms (Suzanne Dushane) best friends since 2nd grade Linda King Sluder. Linda is a genuine, caring, sweet woman who could use all the help she can get right now. I would like to share Lindas story in hopes of helping her with her financial burden and to have as many prayers for her as we can get.

In the beginning of 2022, Linda suffered a seizure then a short 7 months later she suffered another seizure, at this point, Linda has had countless MRI scans done, which ultimately confirmed she had a brain tumor in September 2022. November 7th just a few short weeks ago Linda underwent brain surgery to try and remove the brain tumor; during surgery they were able to remove 85% of the tumor and sent out a biopsy. Since having surgery Linda will also need to do physical therapy.

On November 18th 2022, Linda received a positive cancer diagnosis, not only was the tumor cancer it is Stage 4 Glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is the most aggressive brain cancers there is; it is also one of the rarest as only 12,000 people a year are diagnosed with it.

Now that Linda has recieved this diagnosis, the plan was to start chemotherapy and radiation every day for 6 weeks. Linda started her Chemotherapy and radiation on December 7th 2022. The doctors have said that upon completion of the 6-week treatments, there is an 80% chance that the cancer will return more aggressively at which point, they have to make a plan with the doctors to see what steps will be next.

Linda is fighting this cancer diagnosis head on and is being a strong fighter for herself and her 3 children.

Linda only has Medicare insurance which she has to pay large amounts for the scans, surgery, physical therapy and now cancer treatments in which she could use all the help anyone is willing to give as the bills for all of this is very expensive.
