I'm certain many people would agree that finding quality child care in a facility with loving people is difficult and daunting to find.  Once you find it it's something you cherish and hold fast to like a lock to a special diary, doing everything possible to make sure you don't lose it.  

On September 30, 2014, there were 12 immediate families and many, many prior families devastated by the blow to hear of our dear friend, father, and second father to nearly a hundred other children because brain cancer has become part of his journey.

Carlos and Allison Solarzon have run a very successful childcare facility for many, many years and have watched, taught, loved and cherished so many children from the time they were infants until it was time for them to start school.  They are second parents to so many children and continue to be remembered that way for years to come.

This fund is set up to support the expenses Carlos and Allison will encounter as they walk together through this journey.  The daycare is their only source of income which is now on hold becuase of the medical crisis at bay.  

In addition to nearly a hundered children who think of them as a second set of parents, Carlos and Allison have a daughter on a mission in California, and 3 other sons that range from high school age down to elementary age that will also begin walking this journey with their dad.

It is my prayer that our community rally around them to give back to people who have given so much of their time, love and commitment to working families.  

God's got this, Carlos.  Stand firm...on solid ground. Because of Christ, there’s hope in the madness, hope in the sadness, light in the darkness and light in the brokenness.  Dig your roots into solid ground and don't forget where your hope comes from, my dear friend.
