August 18th is our Jimmy’s Angel Day. Today, we celebrate the life and legacy of Jimmy “HOFFA” Zumbrun, whom we lost to an overdose in 2019.

In an effort to get Free From Addiction, Jimmy sought help and was added to a two (2) week waiting list for a bed in a treatment facility. Jimmy wanted to live. Tragically, he overdosed before his bed became available.

This experience inspired The HOFFA Foundation—HEALING. OPPORTUNITY. FREE FROM ADDICTION. This year, The HOFFA Foundation opened The HOFFA House, a Recovery Residence in Sykesville, MD. No one, with the desire to live, should die waiting for access to a bed.

To honor Jimmy on his Angel Day and to support the ongoing operations of The HOFFA House, The HOFFA Foundation has set a goal to raise $18,000.

Your contribution directly impacts our capacity to provide immediate access to a bed in The HOFFA House, a safe and sober living environment where individuals Heal and have the Opportunity to get Free From Addiction.
