Faye Fung’s battle of Pediatric brain cancer

This is our beloved daughter, Faye.

Faye was born on July 7, 2022. When she was just 2-months old, she was

diagnosed with pediatric brain cancer – specifically, an inoperable optic-chiasm tumor in the center of her brain. Though the effect that this

cancer will have on Faye’s life and future remains unknown due to lack of research in infants, we remain steadfast and hopeful. But we need your help.

At such a young age, Faye has endured so much pain - her sleep is consistently

disrupted, she is unable to keep food down, and relies on a gastrointestinal tube to provide her with the necessary nutrients to grow. She has gone through two different chemotherapy protocols to no avail – the tumor continued to metastasize throughout her brain and to her spine. She is now on her third round of chemotherapy treatment. Yet, Faye’s strength in the face of devastating adversity has fueled our family’s resolve to fight with her. We have scoured the globe to enlist the help of the few medical specialists who have experience treating this condition in children, and explored several untested but promising treatments to aid in her fight for life. But due to the archaic and dysfunctional nature of our healthcare system, we have been met with denial after denial of the health insurance coverage necessary to fund the critical, life-saving treatments that Faye desperately needs.

Faye has been a warrior throughout this journey. To aid in her continued pursuit for life - and one with quality - we are humbly asking for your help. Our campaign is fueled by our unconditional love for our Faye. In her name, we also wish to raise awareness for families that are affected by pediatric brain tumors. Our goal is to raise funds so that Faye does not need to be granted permission to live. However you choose to give, know that your assistance will enable us to continue to provide and explore the medical support and care that Faye needs.
