Hello,

My name is Tim and 10 months ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. This is a rare blood cancer people my age do not normally get. I was working for Loblaw Inc. at their facility in Durham went I began feeling the symptoms. Common ones are extreme fatigue and weakened bones. Unfortunately I broke a rib without even knowing and caused me to be absent from work more than I cared to be. The X Ray didn't even pick it up as I found out several weeks later. Loblaw terminated my employment due to the absenteeism. I let them know about my diagnosis but HR said it was too late. I am able to collect sick benefits through EI but they are due to come to an end at the end of the year. I will not be able to pay rent or monthly expenses when that happens. I am hoping and praying people out there can help. Very difficult situation as I am still recovering and cannot go on a job search for awhile. Please help if you can)
