Let's Finish What We Began: Favour's Second Operation is Due!!

Last year, we raised enough money in the UK and in Uganda to fund Favour's first hip-replacement operation. In June 2026, her second operation will take place.

Without this intervention, Favour cannot easily manage basic hygiene by herself — especially at school and in public places that aren’t disability-friendly. It’s painful, isolating, and has taken away her dignity, happiness and independence.

The Operation That Could Change Everything

Doctors have found a discounted approach to her surgery which dropped the cost to £5000 for each hip replacement, (Original cost was UGX 100 million (around £11,000 each)

Following her first operation, all pain in that leg is not gone. She looks forward to being completely pain-free after the second operation.
