Favor for Mom

Leanne Shonk, my wonderful mother, needs your help. She has aggressive Multiple Sclerosis and has needed 24-hour care for over a year. She's had to quit her career early because of this awful, debilitating disease. 

We need major help to afford her caregivers. In order to receive Medicaid, my mother had to use her ENTIRE personal savings. However, Medicaid will not kick in for at least another 6 months. Why this is the case is absurd, but this is the situation. We are turning to our family and friends to help bridge the financial gap between now and then.
