Update 7/16/25 - (Please read new update posted below in updates )

Hi friends and family! I am going to cut to the chase, my family needs help because we have been served papers for an eviction from our home.

Brad lost his job last year (2024) with the railroad, him and his good friend have started a business as most of you know, but it is not currently bringing in enough to pay all of our bills, so he is trying to find another way to bring in more income and I have been applying to countless jobs, although I am a stay at home mom and homeschool mom.

We went through an eviction in 2019 and it was absolutely devastating and very traumatic. We lived with family and even lived in a hotel for a few months during that time, until about 2.5 years ago when we were finally able to move into the home we are in now. During the time after we were evicted we had to live in multiple places, that really were supposed to be temporary, but had to become long term due to the fact that we had an eviction on our credit and even after paying off the thousands of dollars that we owed we were unable to rent anywhere for a long while afterwards because of the eviction on our credit.

I have literally been sick to my stomach, dealing with horrible migraines from the stress and fear of having to leave our home in such a short amount of time again, at that time in 2019 I could barely put one foot in front of the other to pack and move because I was so traumatized by losing our home.

My kids have gone through these traumatic moves and I do not want this to happen to them again. If we are evicted we will have to wait a long time again to be able to rent and I honestly do not know what the future holds, we really do not have the option to live with family again. We would have to leave our home, lose the beloved kids' pets and even then I don't know where we would end up.

It is really, really hard to even share this, let alone ask for help in this capacity. We absolutely would not be asking if we were not incredibly desperate. I have literally been sick at the thought of having to go through this again, of my kids having to go through this again.

We need to pay the rest of our rent by the middle of this coming week, our court appointed appointment is set for Tuesday, 5/27/25. We have about $1,300 for rent right now and will need about that much more.

Please, please pray for my family and if you are able to help financially, we appreciate that so much! My family and I have been through a really, really hard and traumatic time the last few years that only close family and friends know about, that we do not share publicly. But, I ask that, if you are able, please, please help us not have to go through also losing our home again. Thank you.
