Hello all, my name is Chelsea Bahuka, and my mom was known as Fatuma or Fanny or Maman Leki ("little mama" in Lingala) to close friends and family. Tragically, Tuesday evening of August 9th, 2022, my mom suddenly passed away in her sleep. She was energetic, healthy, and always seen with her big bright smile. My mother left behind four children at the age of 55 years old. My family and I are comforted and at peace knowing that my mother was saved and

loved the Lord.

My siblings and I are feeling an unthinkable void as my mother was supporting my ill father who

has been battling a serious medical condition. As we still have no answers to what exactly happened and how to navigate through these challenging times, many have asked how they can help, so I created this page in her memory. This fundraiser is here to honor my mother and give people the opportunity to show respect and support in any way they can for her funeral and memorial services. We hope your assistance will allow my family the space and time to grieve without worrying about access to sufficient funds to lay my mother to rest properly.
