Update May 2017: Thank you for all your support with my journey. I recently celebrated another year and with it I also received some hope. In October of 2016 we traveled to Monterrey, Mexico for a consultation with a group of doctors that had agreed to review my case. Their evaluation concluded that there might be a surgery to help relieve some of the pressure caused by the tumor. Since then we have been looking into specialists that can perform the surgery in the United States. My insurance currently only covers specialists in Texas and the specialists I have seen in Texas say that there is nothing that could be done. Dr Carrau and Dr. Leonard in Ohio are interested in my case and since they are the only specialists that have been interested in the case my insurance might be able to cover part of it. Once again I am asking for your support since all costs might not be covered. They have given me a tentative consultation date for May 23 to evaluate my case in person and perform more detailed tests to determine the possibility of a surgery. Any help can go a long way to allow the possibility of a better quality of life....
