Hello. My name is Anna Sisco and I am from Nova Scotia, Canada. I have been raising awareness for Gaza,Palestine, and the starvation Gazan's are facing.

Fatima is one of the first friends I've connected with in Gaza and we have been very close ever since.

This is her story in her own words....

I am a mother of four children. Please don't get angry when I constantly ask for help. Our goal is to get out to a safe area and escape the war. I am tired. I can't resist. I can't live in this world. I must leave this world. God hasn't destined death for me. Up until this moment, I don't know why. A mother who cannot protect her children and provide them with food and safety is not fit to be a mother. Now the crossings are closed, and we can't escape far.

We are now living here in Gaza. I want to protect my children, and we have no one but you. Did you know that feeling of helplessness is a very bad feeling? I feel helpless towards my children. When my son asks for the most basic of rights, a small bicycle, and I can't, or when my daughter asks for a doll, and I can't, at this moment I wish the earth would open up and swallow us up and I wouldn't live another second.

If you don't help me, my children will grow up on food and drink. I apologize to all of you. I just want you to take care of my children and my family, and do your best to help them. Of course, no one is obligated to help. Every act of charity is a matter of compassion and goodwill, and must come from the heart. But while we have faced the greatest suffering of killing, destruction, and hunger for more than a year and a half,

I expected my friends to understand and respond, at the very least, by participating. Some did, and I will be grateful for them for the rest of my life. No matter how much you donate, it's important to me to feel your support. Small donations can save an entire family and help them survive.
