Father’s Struggle: Overcome Severe Health Crisis
Donation protected
After being exposed to toxic conditions on the job, my health has completely collapsed. I’ve lost my ability to work, my savings, and nearly my life. I'm fighting to survive—and be here for my son. Anything Helps
The Work That Broke Me
Back in 2024, I was working remodeling homes in Cottonwood, AZ—homes that honestly should have been condemned. But I had bills and a son who needed me. I kept working even though the conditions were dangerous. Mold, rot, filth—everything that could go wrong with a building was rotting from the inside.
When My Body Gave Out
Within weeks, sores started appearing. I couldn’t get out of bed. My joints ached. My skin began to break out with raw, infected patches. I had no health insurance, so we turned to holistic remedies to keep me going. I got “functional” again for a bit… but it never truly stopped.
The Crisis Point
In January 2025, I hadn’t had a bowel movement in two weeks. The ER doctor found a blood infection, intestinal failure, and recommended major surgery. I’m now on a high-fiber diet along with stool softeners, probiotics, and other medications to support my digestive system and avoid another ER visit. But it’s tough to manage that when you’re surviving on food bank donations.
Why I’m Asking for Help
I’m out of options. I’m almost 3 months behind on rent. My son is still counting on me. I’m hoping that, with your help, I can make it through the months ahead until I’m strong enough—and well enough—to work again.
I never thought I’d be in this position. But here I am. If you can donate, even just a few dollars, or share this with someone who might… it could change everything for me and my family.
Goal:
$20,000
This will cover 8–10 months of basic living costs, specialist visits, travel to appointments, a high-fiber diet, and pre/post-op recovery time. Any amount helps. Thank you for taking the time to read and share this and for understanding how hard this has been for my family and I. God Bless.
