My father lives in Pasadena,Texas just outside Houston Texas. We have our share or hurricane and flood issues. Tornado is a new one for us. My father is living with his wife who is currently working at home. He is on disability and on a set income. He just bought a home in southeast Houston about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately insurance rates are high, and being he is on a set income he made some sacrifices while setting up his insurance. Since tornados are not a huge part of the issues we tend to deal with in Texas he was not prepared for this. The storm touched down on his and his neighbor's home. Destroying his roof, backyard patio, front car port, his truck, and damaging everything in between. The deductible is what we are trying to raise money twords. He has been working diligently the last year and a half putting his home together to host gathering and the back yard was a huge part of that for him and his house full of dogs he keeps (and fosters). I'm looking to help them come up with some of the money needed to get this fixed. If you can donate even the smallest amount it would go a long way. The above pictures were just after the damage of what pictures my father could take. They really don't do it justice. Just the first two estimates total just under $20,000 and this only covers the roof and the back car port. The roof had a huge hole in it and the inside was damaged as well. Will need insulation, wood repair, interior repair, and much more. I know alot of people are struggling at the moment but if you have a few dollars to donate it would go such a long way.
