One never knows what it feels like to be displaced until you are living the reality of displacement. A fire can take everything from you, but we are fortunate enough to say that all we lost were the walls and items that gave us a sense of security in this life. As we start completely over, we don't even know how to request appropriately. Our pride as a family has always kept us in the mindset of 'we will figure it out on our own'; And to be truthful, things usually fell into place as needed.
Today is different. Our arms and hearts are open to whatever you may feel called to donate.
Most live with less than what we walked away with, so even as we ask, we ask humbly, knowing others have no help whatsoever in rebuilding their lives'.
As we process our complete loss and plan for the future we are currently only concerned with what we are in need of for our day to day-that is simply Clothing items:
