I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

I came to New Orleans with ambition, vision, and belief that I could build something meaningful. Over the past few years, I experienced divorce, job loss, and a series of financial setbacks that compounded faster than I could recover from them.

Today, I am facing homelessness.

I am currently $6,000 behind on rent and without stable housing. This is not a story I am proud of — but it is my reality.

I take full responsibility for where I am. I have made decisions, taken risks, and weathered circumstances that did not go the way I planned. I am not asking for sympathy. I am asking for a bridge.

As a father, stability matters more than pride. I need a safe, secure place to rebuild from — not just for myself, but so I can remain present and grounded in my role as a parent.

This fundraiser is to:

• Cover past-due rent

• Secure a nearby apartment

• Provide basic stability while I regain steady income

I am actively pursuing work and income opportunities. I am not standing still. What I need is time — and a foundation — to rebuild properly.

There is vulnerability in asking for help publicly. But there is also strength in refusing to quit.
