I ride a push bike named CMO3 it is named after each of my children.

I’m a father of three, originally from England, and for the past several months I’ve been cycling across Australia. So far I’ve covered over 6,500 kilometres, pedalling through WA /NT Darwin to Perth to Albany Esperance and now the Nullabor some of the most remote and beautiful parts of this country. At the moment, I’m crossing the Nullarbor, with a long road still ahead of me toward Brisbane — roughly another 3,300 kilometres.

This journey isn’t about chasing extremes or breaking records. It’s about purpose.

I’m currently estranged from my children, something no parent ever expects or prepares for. I love them deeply, and while I can’t be part of their daily lives right now, I’m determined to leave them something meaningful: a book. I’m writing it as I ride — a record of the journey, the thoughts, the challenges, and the hope that keeps me moving forward.

The book is for my children first and foremost. One day, if they choose, they may publish it for themselves — or simply read it and know how much their dad loved them and never stopped trying. I also hope it might help other fathers who are separated from their children feel less alone and find the strength to keep going.

I’m not asking for charity or handouts. I’ve funded this journey myself so far, even drawing from my pension to give myself the chance to complete it and do justice to the story I’m writing. However, my funds are now running very low, and the road ahead is long.

Any support raised here will help cover basic essentials — food, water, bicycle maintenance, and the ability to safely reach Brisbane, where I’ll be staying with friends and reconnecting with community.
