Father of 5 needs our help...

Hello I am Katie Tuscano sister in-law to Troy Marsh. I am writing on behalf of our family. Our hope is to get funds to help keep the household going and for future medical bills. Troy is a father to a 17, 16, 14, 12 and 8 year old, that all depend on him to provide for them in some way. Troy has been a manager with Walmart for over 20 years. This show's how dedicated, loyal and what a hard worker he is. He also finds time to coach his 8 year old's baseball team, make all his daughter's sport events, take them to practice and be there for his family and friends when needed. We don't know what Troy's future holds but, as family we will do what we can. We are asking that you help us with any future burden by donating what you can. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
On Saturday March 18, what was supposed to be a weekend full of memories quickly turned into a nightmare.
After spending the day on the slopes in Truckee, California with family.  We made a last minute decision to have lunch back at the cabin. We arrived at the cabin around 2 and all sat down and ate lunch together.
Between 3 - 3:30 we started falling asleep. Mike and I woke up around 4:45 and headed up stairs where Troy and my brother were sleeping. At this point everything seemed normal.
Some time around 5:15-6 p.m, I made a cup of coffee and started making dinner. During this time Troy was laying on the floor asleep on his back, at some point he tried to sit up. I remember thinking to myself , he must be sore after learning how to snowboard all day. He turned onto his right side and went back to sleep. A bit later he tried to get up, this time from laying on his right side. He seemed to  be having a hard time getting up but, I dismissed anything being wrong. I assumed his arm was asleep. Again, he went back to sleep.
Shortly after 6 pm, some of us decided earlier to try night skiing, we started getting ready. Moments before we all walked out the door, my mom came downstairs and told me something seemed off with Troy. When I came up the stairs Mike was sitting on the couch observing Troy and asking "if he was okay?". Troy didn't answer him, instead just stared at Mike. Troy attempted to get up, but couldn't without assistance from my mom. Once up, I noticed Troy's left side of his face was drooping. I pulled Mike aside and told him I think he is having a heart attack. Meanwhile, my mom tried giving Troy some water, asked him to stick his tongue out and hold up his arms. He couldn't do most of it and he was having a hard time swallowing. At this point I asked the kids to go in the other room and we called 911.
It was horrible having a loved one look at you like help me! He was not able to speak or move his whole right side. But, was alert otherwise. The ambulance seemed to take forever, they got lost getting to us. After arrival they let us know that he would be going to Truckee or Reno depending on the severity. Since they weren't sure at the moment they took our contact info. About 20 mins after leaving they notified us he would be going to Renowned Regional Hospital in Reno, Nevada. Which was the worse case scenario. Mike and Troy's 14 year old daughter drove the 45 minutes from our cabin to the hospital. Once they arrived the nurse told them Troy had suffered a major stroke caused by a blood clot in his brain. The clot was caused by a narrowing of his main artery in his neck. Within an hour of being at the hospital Troy was in surgery to remove the blood clot.
Sunday March, 19 - Troy's mom, oldest Son and Sarah drove from California and we all met up at the hospital. When we arrived Troy  was not alert, still unable to speak or move his right side.  CAT scan was done late into the night. The scan showed he had bleeding and swelling in his brain.
Monday March, 20 - Still no changes with Troy. The doctor did a follow up CAT scan. It showed the bleeding and swelling was worse. They needed to do surgery ASAP. The doctor explained he had a very small window to get this done. The doctor needed to stop the bleeding and was going to remove some of the bone of his skull.  This was to give the brain room to swell without damaging the healthy part of the brain. Surgery was a success!
Tuesday March, 21 - Swelling and bruising are worse. No changes otherwise.
Wednesday March, 22 - Thursday March. 23 - Swelling and bruising improving a bit. As well as a tiny bit of movement on the right. Still not alert or speaking.
Friday March, 24 - Today is Troy's birthday! He is turning 46 years old. He is opening his eyes a bit more, moving his right a little more, and the swelling/bruising are going down. He still isn't talking at all. We got word today that he will be flown home tomorrow.
Saturday March, 25 - Troy was flown to Santa Rosa finally. He is still very swollen, can't speak, can't move the right side, and running a fever.
