Support Father from being deported

On June 11 2017, ICE agents handcuffed and removed a father from his home in front of his children. Him and along with many other Chaldeans were taken from their homes without warning. ICE agents lied to him as they promised he'd be home as soon as the next day and it was not necessary to kiss his kids goodbye.

Dorid Marogi is a Chaldean Catholic American. His family fled Iraq as refugees when he was 7 and has been in America since. Dorid made mistakes in his younger years and did his time. After paying the price (which occurred over 25 years ago), he got married and had 3 beautiful children and expecting another baby in 2 months.

Families are forced to hire lawyers at such an inconvenient time. We are authorized to take action immediately. Proper legal consultation and representation is needed.

If he is deported to Iraq as soon as Friday, he will taken to Iraq which is a current war zone and active genocide is taking place. This is a second punishment and a death sentence. This is devastating to his wife and children.

We are asking for donations that will directly go towards the legal fees and to help the family. His wife, Jennifer is currently pregnant and is diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and unable to work. Dorid supports the family financially. Anything will help. God bless you all and please pray for him and all families going through this difficult time.
Doriad and Jennifer have asked Jennifer's brother Jeffrey to open a bank account and be  in charge of distributing funds to their attorney, rent, etc.
