it was on his 12th wedding anniversary, while vacationing with his family, Travis was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident. He held on in ICU for several days before we were told he would never recover. The damage was far too great. Being the primary breadwinner to his wife and girls, they are now facing financial burdens like they’ve never known before. We hope y’all can donate, share anything to get the word out. Any help or support will be greatly appreciated
original post: On Oct. 1, 2025, my baby brother, Travis, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that changed his life in an instant. He is a kind, strong, and loving son, brother, husband, friend and father of 3 beautiful girls. Those who know him know his spirit and determination.
The crash left him with serious challenges including head injuries, to what extent is unknown, broken bones including 6 ribs, punctured lung, knocked out his teeth and broke his jaw, many surgeries needed. He is currently in the hospital in Myrtle Beach, sc as this happened during a family vacation. He is 5 hours from home with family at his side. There is no way to know how long it will be before he can be moved closer to home or what his needs or deficits may be. Regardless, he faces a long road to healing.
While we are so very grateful that he is still with us, the reality is that his recovery will be a challenging journey. His wife and 2 young children depend on him and there is no telling when he will be able to return to work. His wife is having to find a way to stay close by, manage the 2 little ones and the care of her mother. We are so unsure how to help her manage it all.
We are reaching out with this GoFundMe to ask for support—whether through donations, prayers, or sharing this page. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward his medical expenses, rehabilitation, and helping him get back on his feet.
Our family is deeply thankful for the love, kindness, and generosity shown during this difficult time. Please keep Travis, Scotti, Cameron, Charli, Bentli and the rest of our family in your thoughts as he fights to heal and rebuild his life.
