Father of 3 needs help after dog attack!
Sunday afternoon May 5th my friend Jason was attacked by his own dog. The dog tried to push by Jason to run after someone who was walking by the front of the house with their dog. Jason managed to push the dog back inside and close the door. It was then when the dog turned on him and latched onto his forearm. Fighting with the dog, it took almost 3 min for Jason and his wife Mattie to get him to release. They both sustained injuries with Jason getting the worst of it. Thank God that nothing happened to his 3 young children. The dog was picked up by the humane society.
After the incident, Jason was rushed to the hospital where they cleaned the wounds and stitched up what they could. Jason went in Wednesday May 8th for a checkup and the doctor would not let him leave. Jason was admitted to the hospital to for additional treatment and monitoring. The arm is infected, the surgeons are evaluating his options, and may need to open his arm out to root out the infection.
Jason is one of the hardest working people I know. He is the kind of guy that will drop whatever he his doing to lend a helping hand. He never asks much of anything for himself which is why I am asking for him… He does not have health insurance and even without surgery, the bills are going to be stacking up.
