Father of 2 needs help getting through cancer
Donation protected
I'm fundraising for my nephew, Tom, (aka "Luke") a 20-year police officer in Swampscott, Mass., single dad and youth football coach, recently diagnosed with cancer of the neck. He was forced to stop working while he undergoes a rigorous course of chemotherapy to be followed by radiation and other future treatments. We are optimistic that he will come through this challenge but for now all his energy must be channeled into getting well. Chemo is a lifesaver that also zaps your mental and physical strength as it attacks cancer cells.
Unfortunately bills don't stop for cancer. As an officer, Tom took on extra detail work to meet expenses. That is no longer an option right now. While he has cut back as much as possible, he is in immediate need of money to maintain his household, car payments, insurance, medication and care for his two sons, ages 12 and 16, and cat, Poo. We are grateful for any and all contributions that will ease his burden. No amount is too little.
For those who don't know Tom, he went into law enforcement because he cares about helping people. He is always ready to lend a hand no matter the problem. Any help that can now be extended to him will someday be passed on to others when Tom is well enough to resume his career.
Many thanks.
