Request for Support in My Father’s Battle Against Illness

Dear Friends and Family,

I’m reaching out to you all with a heavy heart, but also with hope. My father, Subramanyam Vedantham, who has always been my guiding light and source of strength, has recently been diagnosed with a serious bone marrow condition. This condition requires him to undergo weekly blood transfusions, and while the news has left us devastated, we are holding on to hope and doing everything we can to help him fight.

The doctors have informed us that a bone marrow transplant will eventually be necessary, but due to his other health complications, they’ve recommended a lifelong treatment called “Jakavi” to manage his condition. While we are grateful for this option, the financial burden of the medication has become overwhelming. Between hospital stays, ongoing tests, and the cost of medications, the expenses have become too much for us to bear on our own.

My father has always been the pillar of our family—selfless, hardworking, and compassionate. He has always put others' needs before his own and has given so much of himself to help others. Now, it is our turn to help him in his time of need.
