Father in-law Heart Attack and Bypass Surgery
Donation protected
Greetings to you and yours,
My name is Jeffrey Maisonneuve, and my wife, Lucil, had her father, Rodrigo, suffer through a heart attack three days after Christmas. Gratefully, he is still with us, but he requires bypass surgery.
The emergency medical bills for Rodrigo have been totaled to $38,610 CAD and must be paid back at an interest rate of a 2% monthly balance, which is a $772 interest per month. Bypass surgery (which is scheduled for mid-February, since we can't delay it any further) is an additional $30,000, plus any unforeseen medical bills associated with the operation.
Unfortunately, the insurance company that he invested in, will not cover this expense since he transitioning to be a Permanent Residence of Canada; even though the process is nearly complete. Rodrigo's Permanent Residence visa is expected around the same time he will be allowed his Canadian health-card, drivers license, and his SIN card. Tragically, these current and subsequent medical bills can not be postdated or covered when he gets his residency, which means the money is still due February 4th, 2025. As a result, our family will have to pay for all his medical expenses in a short amount of time.
Rodrigo was born on May 28th, 1956. He is a husband to Lucil's mother, Aurea. He is a father to three children, which includes my wife, his son, and his late daughter. Lucil and I have two children, Rodrigo's son also has two kids, making Rodrigo, a loving grandfather to four grand-children.
Our family is reaching out to you; our community, friends, family, and any kind folks who can lend us a helping hand with Rodrigo's medical expenses. Please find it in your heart to donate any amount that you're willing to give, and/or able to; to allow Rodrigo to continue to live his life with his family, to watch his grand-kids grow, and to continue forth without the stress and weight of crippling debt looming over the rest of his life.
Thank you all for your kindness, generosity, and prayerful support. May God richly bless you in return.
Sincerely,
Jeffrey Maisonneuve
