Single Dad Injured in Crash – Help Us Get Back on the Road

On the morning of May 16, 2025, I was just doing what most parents do—trying to make it through the day for my kids.

I’m Christopher Lomelino, a single father raising two boys, ages 6 and 3. That day, I was driving straight through a green light in Lake Mary, Florida, when another driver suddenly turned across my lane, failing to yield. I never even had a chance to brake. The crash totaled my only vehicle—and with it, my ability to work, provide, and stay afloat.

Since that moment, life has been survival mode.

I’m injured. I’m under medical care. And while I’ve filed an insurance claim, the system moves slowly—too slowly for families living day-to-day. There’s no rental, no payout, and no timeline. Just silence, pain, and a growing list of bills I can’t cover while my boys still need dinner, daycare, and stability.

This isn’t about asking for pity. It’s about keeping my boys safe.

It’s about getting back to work.

It’s about moving forward when everything is telling you to give up.
