Hi everyone,

My sweet daughter in law started this page for us, but it was confusing for people who knew Tommy so I decided to edit it.

My husband, Tommy, aka Tom/Thomas/"D", was recently diagnosed with advanced bladder cancer. He has been unable to work for a few weeks now. He will have to leave his job permanently. He will also have to stop doing his art and playing music for at least 6 months. I have just retired myself last week. I will be his primary caretaker. He will definitely need all the prayers, love and support from his friends and loved ones. 

He will eventually get disability and Medicaid but, could take up to 90 days to be approved.  All donations will be sent directly to me and will be used for Tommy's medical needs, and bills. We will be having to make constant trips to and from UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill for him to have Chemotherapy. Then surgery again, then another round of Chemotherapy along with Dr. appointments. Any donations are greatly appreciated during this time of hardship.
