My name is Harkirat Singh, and with a very heavy heart, myself, Tanjot and Shabir are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the family of my dear friend, Harsh Sharma, both here in Australia and in India.

On the night of 3 September 2026, our lives changed forever.

Harsh passed away suddenly and tragically at just 30 years old, leaving behind his loving wife and two beautiful little daughters his youngest baby is only three weeks old.

This is an incredibly painful time for Harsh’s family. We want to honour his memory and focus on the life Harsh lived, the people who loved him, and the young family who now need our support.

Only three weeks earlier, Harsh and his family had welcomed their beautiful newborn daughter into the world. What should have been one of the happiest chapters of their lives has suddenly become a period of unimaginable grief.

He was only 30 years old.
His baby girl is only three weeks old.
A whole lifetime should have been ahead of him.

Harsh was more than this tragedy.

He was a husband.
He was a son.
He was a friend.
And above everything else, he was the father of two little girls.

His wife is now facing a future she could never have imagined grieving the loss of her husband while caring for two young children, including a newborn baby who has barely begun her life.

Thousands of kilometres away in India, Harsh’s parents and family are also grieving the devastating loss of their son.

A wife has lost her husband.
Two little girls have lost their father.
Parents have lost their son.
And we have lost a dear friend far too soon.

Nothing we raise can bring Harsh back or take away the pain his family is experiencing.

But we can come together and make sure his wife and daughters do not have to carry the financial burden of this tragedy alone.

I am raising these funds on behalf of Harsh’s family in Australia and India to assist with immediate expenses following his passing, support his wife with everyday living costs and the needs of their children, and provide some financial stability for his two daughters during the difficult road ahead.

His daughters have already lost their father. They should not have to lose their sense of security as well.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will help.

If you cannot donate, please share this fundraiser with your friends, family and community. Sometimes a single share can reach someone who is able to make a difference.

Together, we can help change what tomorrow looks like for Harsh’s wife and two little girls.

Please remember Harsh for the life he lived and the people he loved.

Please stand with his wife, his parents and his family.

And most importantly, please stand behind the two little girls who must now grow up without their father beside them.

For Harsh.
For his wife.
For his two daughters.
For their future. ❤️

On behalf of Harsh’s family in Australia and India, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every donation, every share, every prayer and every act of kindness.

**Important Update – Fund Distribution and Transparency**

I am the organiser of this fundraiser for Harsh and his family. Harsh was from Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, India, and sadly passed away in Canberra, Australia, on 3 September 2026.

**My relationship to Harsh**

Harsh was my childhood friend from India, and I currently live in Sydney, Australia. I created this fundraiser to support his family during this extremely difficult time. I have organised this fundraiser with the full knowledge and permission of Harsh’s wife and his parents.

**How the funds will be received and distributed**

For complete transparency, all funds raised through this GoFundMe will initially be transferred into my bank account in Australia, which is the account I have registered with GoFundMe for withdrawals.

I have shared my bank account details with Harsh’s wife and parents so that they are fully aware of the account into which the donations will initially be received.

Once the funds are received into my account, **50% of the net funds received will be transferred directly to Harsh’s wife, and the remaining 50% will be transferred directly to Harsh’s parents in India.**

Harsh’s wife and parents are fully aware of this arrangement and have given me permission to receive and distribute the funds on their behalf.

I will not retain any portion of these funds for my personal benefit. The money will be distributed to Harsh’s wife and parents as described above.

I am committed to maintaining transparency throughout this process. Records of the funds received through GoFundMe and the subsequent transfers to Harsh’s wife and parents will be maintained.

If any donor, supporter, or member of the community has questions regarding this fundraiser or the distribution of the funds, please feel free to contact me directly at email address linked to this fundraiser.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who has donated, shared this fundraiser, and supported Harsh’s family during this incredibly difficult time.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, prayers and support.

With Gratitude
Harkirat Singh
