Meet Father Charles Amogene. A Story of Hope:
Supporting Father Charles' Fight Against Leukemia.
In the heart of Port O Prince Haiti, where resilience and faith intertwine, Father Charles has been a beacon of hope for his community. For many years he has dedicated his life to serving others at Our Lady of La Salette—offering spiritual guidance to his flock and building an orphanage for abandoned children. His unwavering commitment to his people has transformed countless lives, but for the past 8 months, Father Charles has been facing a battle of his own.
In October of 2024, Father Charles was diagnosed with leukemia; a devastating illness that has left him physically weakened but spiritually unbroken. Despite the challenges, his faith remains steadfast, and his love for his community shines brighter than ever.
Father Charles' journey has inspired many and now, it’s our turn to give back to a man who has given so much.
After spending 8 months in the states far from home, we are launching this fundraising campaign to ensure Father Charles can return to Haiti where he will be able to continue his medication regimen and his mission. The funds raised will cover his travel expenses any additional or supplemental medical care, and basic necessities for him and those who rely on him for provision. Every dollar brings us closer to giving Father Charles the chance to continue his mission of love and service to others.
At a minimum, he needs $500 to cover his plane ticket back to Haiti in less than two weeks.
Your support can make a world of difference. Whether it’s a donation, a prayer, or sharing this story with others, every act of charity counts. Together, we can help Father Charles return to his homeland, and the community that needs him so dearly.
Let’s rally around this extraordinary man and show him that he is not alone in this fight. Join us in giving Father Charles the gift of hope, healing, and a future filled with possibilities.
