It is hard to write asking for help during this difficult time and to tell a story of a man that so many saw as a Father, a Husband, an Inspiration and a Hero that fell victim to Prostate Cancer like so many other beautiful souls. Cancer destroys lives, takes our loved ones and puts a hole in loved ones hearts that can never be repaired.
My father became an Angel before his time. Before any proper end of life planning. We never thought something like this would happen to our family and we prayed and believed he would get better. Fanancial circumstances has our family reaching out for help as we have no other choice. We want our father to rest in peace knowing our family fault and did everything we could to give him a proper burial. With my father's passing so went income to bury him and with all the medical expenses all hopes to save our family home may have gone as well.
I remember him telling me take care of your mother when I go. I would tell him stay positive, nothing will happen to you. We prayed every night for months. With passing months his health deteriorated. We kept telling him stay positive, smile you will be ok. Some days seemed as if he would get better and felt as if everything would be ok.

The day he got admitted to the hospital was a tough day for us . A possible 2 to 3 day stay turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. He never recovered. On Oct 19th he passed. My mother never left his side. They were in love. Over 40 years together. Day after day, night after night she sat by his side hoping and praying for him to come home, for months she was there with him. He loved her he held on for her. Our father was so strong, such a fighter, he did not want to go. There were days we would laugh with him, there were days we would cry with him and there were days and days with him not waking up at all. All he wanted to do was go home, spend the holidays with us and be the great father he strived to be. Dad now you are home!
Our family is asking for your help to give a great, strong, loving father, husband, brother to all a proper burial that we cannot give him. Cancer sucks! And I pray for anyone reading this that is going through something similar. Its tough. Hold your loved ones, tell them you love them, let them know they truly are appreciated. My dad loved all of us. Would do anything for us. Now it's our turn to do something for him. Anything counts and everything helps.
