Father and son lose everything in fire
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Chris and I'm a friend of the son in this situation, James. James lives in St. Louis with his father, an 80 year old disabled veteran in need of assisted living, and they've endured a very tough situation over the last few days. They've lost all of their personal possessions, identification, car, their cats which they loved dearly, pretty much everything other than the clothes they were wearing at the time, in a massive house fire. They were living in a rental property with no renter's insurance and now have nowhere else to go. The local hospital has been kind enough to let them stay for now but this situation could change at anytime. Red Cross has put them on a minimum 45 day waiting list for temporary housing, so they do not have any where to fall back on once they leave the hospital. We are seeking any monetary help you are willing to donate that will go directly to James and his father for any medical expenses (they were treated for severe smoke inhalation and minor burns), immediate expenses for clothing, housing, food, medicine, and hopefully a replacement vehicle to help find work. Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope you will find it in your heart to help these kind souls, they deserve so much better than the hand they've been dealt recently and this would go along way to getting them back on solid ground.
