Father and Daughter Survive Gunfire At Home
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Emily and I am fundraising on behalf of my husband but even more so our family. We live in Hawthorne, CA. On the weekend of Oct 28 my husband and daughter were victims of a violent crime. They were followed home around 6:15 PM. When arriving at our home, an unknown vehicle approached and began to open fire. My husband was hit twice in the right hand. Thankfully our 4 year old daughter was unharmed. I was inside of our home with our other children. Sadly, our vehicle did not make it. After taking at least 4 gunshots, it was no longer drivable. Not to mention having to look at it daily would have been a terrifying reminder of what happened. Since then we have fallen behind on bills and lost our only vehicle to get our family around. We have also applied for victims of a violent crime and are still waiting to hear back from them. Of course a police report was also filed but we won’t be able to obtain a copy until the case is closed.

Happy Holidays.
