In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Father & Partner Ernesto ‘Fathe’ Virgi.

It is with both sorrow, immense gratitude and love that we come together to honour the life of a truly remarkable man - our beloved father, partner, uncle, brother, grandfather, and friend.

Dad was the true definition of selflessness. He lived his life with an open heart, always placing the needs and happiness of others before his own. His unwavering faith in God shaped every part of his journey and allowed him to live a life far beyond what he had imagined. He trusted wholeheartedly in God’s plan, and through that trust, he was able to face life with incredible strength, resilience, grace, and an unshakable faith.

He was a man of immense kindness, generosity, and joy. Someone who gave without ever expecting anything in return. His mission in life was simple yet profound: to bring happiness to others, no matter the cost to himself and he did just that. In every smile he shared, every soul he comforted, and every life he touched.

To honour his legacy and the values he lived by, our family is raising funds to build multiple water wells in his homeland and birthplace of Mozambique. He had a deep love for his country and shared happy memories of his childhood there. Water held profound significance for him — it wasn’t merely a necessity for survival, but a precious gift he deeply respected. He believed it was something everyone should have access to - clean, safe water is a fundamental right that every human being deserves.

These wells will serve as a living tribute — a reflection of the life he led and the love he gave. Through them, his legacy will continue to flow into the lives of others, offering hope, strength, resilience, courage and a reminder of the man who gave so much to so many.

From the depths of our hearts, thank you for your support and generosity in helping us keep his beautiful spirit alive. He will always be with us.
