We are reaching out as a family to ask for support for our son, Michael, following a tragic boating accident in Yamba on Thursday, 12th March.

A freak wave capsized his yacht, throwing him into the water. He was drifting in and out of consciousness before being rescued by a passing fisherman. Tragically, his wife—his soulmate—and his brother-in-law lost their lives in this accident.

Michael has not only lost the two people closest to him, but also his home, as the yacht was where he lived, along with all of his belongings.

Our family is heartbroken, and we are hoping to raise funds to help Michael begin to rebuild his life during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter how small, would be deeply appreciated.
