Support Fat Manx Cat Sanctuary's Urgent Needs
Donation protected
I opened the Fat Manx Cat Sanctuary in early 2024 when I was contacted to take a family members cats, including a cat that was shot, to take them out of a dangerous situation.
This flourished, and my husband and I decided to foster and give sanctuary to local cats in Granite Shoals TX. I Had just opened my tattoo shop, Fat Manx Tattoo Studio, and had space in the building to house animals in need.
Within time we needed more space and needed to fully seperate the sanctuary and the tattoo shop. my landlord agreed to lift my rent in exchange to build me a back room to house the cats, with a little window so cats could watch people being tattooed.
I am now a non profit 501-c3, but we require donations to keep it running smoothly. As a ma and pop ran rescue, we put in a lot of our own funds, and have been struggling.
We are looking for funding to help keep the sanctuary open, and have a medical fund built for all the new cats that will come in this year, as well as the dozens of kittens we already have and will have this season
Funds will mainly go toward
-Rent. We are hoping money to raise at least 6 months worth of rent coverage for the back room sanctuary
-Medical Fund. Each cat that comes into our care can cost hundreds just for a first check up appointment, and Spay and Nueter is out of the question without donations, and we usually dony adopt out cats that have not been sterilized.
-TNR. We'd love to build a fun specifically for trapping and fixing the colonies in Granite Shoals TX, specifically the colony around our building area
This started as a pashion project and has turned into a full time endeavor. we've adopted out 30 cats in the past year and I'd like to double that this year if not continue working with our partners to get all kitties home
We are in URGENT need of donations for medical and food.
Thank you
