Hey Fellow Adventurer!

My name is Ashley Fuchs. In June 2026, I will attempt to set the fastest known time for a woman on the Camino de Santiago. An outdoor enthusiast and avid backpacker, I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2022, completed 700 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail in 2023, solo backpacked across Estonia in 2024, and solo backpacked across Scotland in 2025. The Camino Francés (also known as the French Way) is a premier hiking route in Europe. Spanning approximately 500 miles, the French Way begins in Pied-de-Port, France, and ends in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The current female, self-supported record is 11d 23h 34m. I hope to beat this time by hiking 44 miles per day!
