Back in 2016, I started working for DoorDash, Instacart, UberEats, and Postmates, not all at the same time mind you. Right off the bat, I loved the concept, the driving, but above all, meeting new people. The pay was $5, plus $2 per hour you did not get a delivery at all. Still, I enjoyed it. Even after I broke 2 car engines on 2 different cars, and made half my family wonder what in the world I was doing that I called a "job". 

Now, I was not one to just be content with what the delivery services were doing, I even had an idea to create a secondary revenue stream for drivers while they waited for deliveries. Now, I must make a note here, Uber just recently started TESTING this concept in Nevada in 2019/2020. I created my own Mobile Advertising Platform and installed it with the help of a mechanic friend:

I know, poor car, but it did the job! I had a few restaurants paying me $100 a month to display their ads around town, all the while doing deliveries. I even had the idea of trying to contacting DoorDash and showing my work and who knows, become part of the company, anything. But I got nowhere. I guess this is where my frustration with all the services began. They always say that they care about the driver. But after many frustrating conversations, multiple cancellations, ridiculous driving ranges, and lack of accountability, I had had enough. It didn't matter to DoorDash that a driver with my record (3,600+ completed deliveries, countless cancelled others) I was left with hanging with the bags, literally, when their system crashed and left me in the middle of the road. The caper was when they blamed me for not delivering the food I had on me, even though I had catalogued and notified DoorDash BEFORE the situation got worst.

That was it for me.

The good thing for me is that I had made a name for myself by the time I left DoorDash, UberEats, and Postmates. Businesses around town new more for the frequency that they same me at their store for 3 years. When I floated the idea of starting my own delivery service, customers and businesses alike showed interested, and stated their desire to work me. Mom and Pop stores, corporate, franchises, I was able to cultivate and grow relationships with the same people that the big delivery services were failing. I could see there was an opportunity, a new way of delivering. I just had to keep developing and getting my name out there. It was kind of hard with the established services, I am not going to lie.

Then Covid -19 happened.

I couldn't believe it. Due to the pandemic, and the overwhelming negative sentiment that the general public had at the way that the delivery services were conducting business and the skewed compensation formula they are using to pay drivers, the illogical commission and processing fees being applied to restaurants/businesses, the continuous system crashes, and dubious driver actions and accountability, my service began to grow. It started to become known.  More orders began to come in. The new stage of growth is beginning.

Now it just needs your support.

this time of uncertainty. Support to grow the number of business partners who join our network, truly helping them grow and keep orders flowing while their dining rooms are closed.
