My 26 year old sister Farrin was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in July of this year. She had a lump in her right breast that grew very quickly. After having it biopsied it came back positive for triple negative breast cancer with a 78% growth rate. In addition to the biopsy, she also had body scans that revealed the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes with suspicious spots on her liver and lungs as well. 

Farrin will begin aggressive chemotherapy starting August 19th and will continue over the next 22 weeks. Surgery and radiation will follow.

As a result of this diagnosis and treatment, she will be unable to work any of her current jobs or career pursuit in the Air Force, and will likely not be able to return until mid 2022. This has already put her in an extremely difficult financial situation and medical bills will continue to mount. Certain expenses are not completely covered by her medical insurance, and Short Term and Full Term Disability will not be enough to fully sustain her through this time. 

Farrin is very loving, has a huge heart of compassion, and is a very hard and motivated worker. She is an amazing young woman with many goals and aspirations. This season has been extremely difficult for her to cope with and process. My hope is to surround my sister with love and support.

•Pray that the Lord would bring her comfort.

•Pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and nurses involved in her care.

•Pray for her upcoming treatments and potential side effects that may follow.

•Pray that the Lord would protect her heart and mind.
