I am hoping to not have to use this page to raise money again in the future and plan on shutting it down in the next few weeks so I can start to move on from 2015. Thanks to all of those who helped raising the funds to get me to Denver and start the journey to find out what was/is wrong with me.

For those who don't know, I'm very sick. Earlier this year, my mom came in to my room to wake me up to start our traditions for Las Vegas race weekend and I didn't respond. She put the light on and my face was blue. My dad started CPR and within 30 minutes I was stabilized in an ambulance, then my heart stopped and after being brought back to life, a tube was put into my throat to breathe for me. I was in coma for four days and had no idea of anything that happened (other than being upset I missed the race weekend). For 10 days, I was on a 24-hour drip of antibiotics, wasn't allowed to eat until the morning of my third day awake and lost all function of my right leg (a consequence of sleeping cross-legged on my side).
SO, why do I need money? The infection I have has been eating at my body, I have no immune system to fight the infection and I have chronic pneumonia as well as other things I don't need to name (just know it's not pretty). I have been so lucky to have been accepted to a facility that can help me. However, it is out of state and outpatient, so we need money for plane tickets, rental cars, hotel and food. (Anything over the goal will be applied towards paying off medical bills.) While we do get discounts, we're still paying off post-hospital bloodwork and doctor visits as it is.
Whether it's $1 or $100, anything is appreciated. You will be taking part in literally saving my life.
