This account is set up and funded for our one and only, forever sunshine, Farrah Myrick King. Most of you know her as a talented yoga instructor here in Jonesboro, or as a teacher at Annie Camp. She is also an Alumnus to Arkansas State University, a loving sister of the AOPI sorority at both ASU and Ole Miss. Being from West Memphis, Farrah knows pretty much everyone between here, there and every where! She is a beloved wife, sister, aunt, daughter and most definitely a best friend and weiney dog lover!
Farrah has been diagnosed with stage 1, Triple Negative Breast Cancer and it is very aggressive. Farrah lost her mother to breast cancer when she was a teenager. Having lived through this loss and finding out she does carry the gene, she has been adamant about her mammograms and screenings which led to this early discovery. We are very thankful for this, but now she faces chemotherapy and surgery at such a young age. She will not be able to work as a teacher this year and must be in isolation until this treatment is completed of approximately 5 to 6 months. This year, Farrah was going to be the sole earner in the family due to her husband, Bradley, attending nursing school. Sooo, it is time to rally, friends!
We know Farrah can beat this, no doubt in our minds! However, we also know that stressing over bills, does not help the fight or the healing process. Hence, this account. Any amount big or small will help tremendously in her fight.
I, and especially Farrah, are grateful to anyone and everyone that donates, shares this link, prays for her and/or sends good vibes and sunshine her way during her journey. No amount is too small.
