As most of you know Farrah underwent surgery in February due to a severe brain tumor that caused a seizure and resulted in a motor vehicle accident. Therefore she has no car and is not able to drive or work for a long time now. She has completed her first round of chemotherapy and radiation that consisted of going to Austin everyday Monday-Friday for 3 months. To prepare for further and more aggressive chemotherapy she just had surgery on August 21st to have a port placed where the chemo will be injected a few times a month along with labs that have to be done weekly in austin and Harker Heights. The cancer has not come back nor spread but with the type that she has they say will never be completely gone and has to be kept stable. Subjectively because of her medical condition and concurrent chemo and radiation treatments she suffers from: seizures, headaches, difficulty with word finding, weakness in the right side, forgetful, distracted, decreased focus, nausea, irritability, fatigue and hairloss. Her activities are limited because she is not suppose to drive, has difficulty time maintaining a consistent schedule. Again not able to work so can use all the help possible with daily responsibilities and or expenses. Thanks for all the prayers and support here on out

Farrah Carnes is a single mother of three grade school girls and a resident of Lampasas, Tx, she is now at home recovering from a severe brain tumor that they found after a car accident that totaled her car. Farrah had a seizure Friday 2/9/24 (Her birthday to be exact) which caused a car accident! She was then rushed to seton in Harker Heights where they did a CT SCAN and MRI which showed a mass/tumor on the right side of her brain! They transferred her to Seaton medical center in Round Rock where they have a neurosurgeon and better team! They have decided instead of just doing a biopsy which would only be taking part of it at the time and could just cause spreading and bleeding that they are actually going in to remove as much as they can to also send off to see what and if she will need radiation and/or chemo! Surgery has went well and the doctors believe to have removed the tumor in its entirety but aren’t sure if it’s cancerous or not yet. She has begun recovery very well and is able to talk and walk with the help of a walker so today 2/15/24 the doctors have released her to go home. Farrah is going to need extended supervision and will not be able to drive on her own for about 6 months. She is very grateful for everything anyone can help with as she continues on this long road of recovery. Thank you to everyone in advance!!
