In Memory of Ellen: Brian & Lucy Support Fund

For those of you who know Brian "Farq" Farquharson, you know that the woman he chooses to love forever must be a really special lady, and that she was. Ellen, his wife, first knew of Farq in High School as the "cool jock" but it wasn't until college that they started to date. It was clear shortly into dating that they had found their best friend in each other and agreed the next step was to build a life together. Brian and Ellen married in 2012 and welcomed their daughter Lucy to the world in 2016.
On Friday, June 12, 2020 Ellen passed away at her parents home in Minnesota, cutting short the timeline of their dreams together as a family.
Brian has been someone who always shows up and does so with a smile on his face. He is a rock to all of us on The Bachelor and has become a best friend to many of us. He is supportive, nurturing, calm, creative, funny, tireless and always a team player while also being one of the best leaders. He is armed with terribly great Dad jokes and what we call Farq'isms and if you haven't met him, when you do- ask him how to spell his last name because he'll sing you a song so that you’ll never forget, because that’s just what he does.
Lucy is so lucky to be able to call him Dad, as Ellen was to call him her husband.
While he figures out how to navigate this loss and next chapter with Lucy, it is time for us to show our support and in doing so we’d like to take as much of the financial burden and worry off the table as we can.
