I am the Head of History at Farnham Heath End and we are fundraising to send our team of History buffs to Barcelona.

On Saturday 4th March, these students won the London edition of the History Bowl and Bee tournament defeating schools including Eton College en route to the final. FHES were the only state school competing in this tournament making this achievement even more remarkable.

As a result of this success, the team have qualified for the European Championships taking place in Barcelona from 9th-11th June where they will compete against schools from across Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. The funds will be used to pay towards flights, accommodation, entry fees, local transport and meals so that the team can go to Spain to represent Farnham and the South East.
