My name is Neil Curtis and I am the Executive Director of Farm Up Jamaica, a nonprofit serving farmers and communities across Jamaica for more than 12 years.
Hurricane Melissa tore off roofs across rural parishes. Without a roof there is no dry place to sleep, no security, and no way to catch and store clean water. Food and clothing matter, but the most urgent needs we see right now are roofing and rainwater harvesting.
What your gift makes possible:
• Replace damaged zinc roofs for families in hard-hit communities
• Install gutters, first-flush filtration and storage tanks for clean water
• Restore stability and a sense of safety so families can begin to recover
Every dollar helps us purchase zinc sheets, lumber, tanks, gutters and fittings, and move them islandwide through trusted local partners. We are on the ground coordinating materials and distribution directly with community leaders.
We will post frequent updates with photos and receipts so you can see exactly what your support delivers.
Please stand with Jamaica today. Donate, share this campaign, and help us bring shelter, clean water and security back to families recovering from Hurricane Melissa.
