Farmer Lynne needs a new furnace
Donation protected
Yesterday my furnace caught on fire. I am grateful to have been outside at the barn working and heard the smoke alarms go off at the house. I didn’t have any damage to anything other than the furnace. When the local furnace company took a look and told me that I needed a new furnace, it was an unexpected cost I couldn’t take on. The furnace has been ordered, and I am waiting for when they can install it. I asked a friend for an emergency loan that I need to pay back.
It’s a bit cold this week with temperatures in the teens, my house is at 49° right now. I believe that is one of the reasons why God made dogs so warm and cuddly, and they are stepping up to do their part too, so it is not all bad.
I am a full time farmer, and work hard 7 days a week. I have a wealth of life, but not wealth of finances and sometimes all the hard work still doesn’t prepare me to handle emergency funds, especially with the hard hits this past year.
As friends and farm customers found out, they have reached out and asked to send me money, and I was asked if I could set up a GoFundMe page so that they could donate. I was given some money already and this is what I need left to pay. This isn’t easy for me to ask for help as I would rather be on the giving end. I have always said that everyone needs a hand up sometime. I just hoped I would be helping out everyone else. Thanks in advance for your support. Sending love. -Farmer Lynne
