Farmer Stef turns Forty

Hey, my name’s Chanel, and we made this for our friend Stefanie Stauber Craig, Auntie Feffy (to her nephew), S. S. Craig, or Stauber's, BIRTHDAY! (It’s a secret so don’t spill the beans) As many of you know Stef has transitioned her life from full-time juice slinger to Co-captaining “The Owl and Bee Farm” with her man (husband), Cam. Stef has been such a pillar in our community, especially during Covid, where she was a steady familiar, while the world was weird. She stood as a bright beacon, there in that little box, center of town, a small port we could pull in, if even for just a moment. Most of us would agree, we left a little lighter a little brighter. She’s given so much, in many ways untold, because that’s who she is. She’s principled, you can count on her to fight the good fight, determinedly research for truth, and then spread it all around. That is one of the main reasons why she has made this move to start farming the little piece of raw land up in Kapahi. She’s goin' straight to the source, our sustenance, and we can count on her to do it the right way, even when it’s the hard way. We created this to help support her. Stef would never ask for help, never has, but she’s always shown up; for me, our friends, and our community. So instead of everyone buying her earrings she won’t be wearing, and Tchotchkies she doesn’t have room for or time to dust, we figured we could help support her/them with this next phase. So, if you feel moved to, you can donate here. There’s no pressure, she doesn’t even know this exists and she would never greenlight receiving when she feels so many are in need, but the way I see it, it’s such a beautiful way to love on someone and celebrate them, by helping support their dream. Give what you feel moved to or just wish her well. We all need people like her that put integrity above convenience. I just chose a number that suited her birthday, do what you like.
