Farm2People - Support Local Farms & Fight Hunger
Tax deductible
Farm2People supports local, regenerative farming projects by purchasing fresh food for food insecure residents of Los Angeles. We pay California farms for surplus and unsold produce and we deliver the salvaged harvests of fruits and vegetables for free to agencies in Los Angeles. Our work supports two vulnerable populations with one action: we provide economic support to farms and we provide nutritious food to historically underserved populations in Los Angeles!

Los Angeles is located in the most agriculturally productive state in the US. We are surrounded by talented farmers and an abundance of fresh, delicious, nutrient-rich food. At the same time, Los Angeles is home to 4 million residents, nearly 1 in 5 of whom fall below the poverty line and struggle to access sufficient nutrition.
What we have is not a food supply problem, it's a food supply chain problem. And we want to contribute to the solution.
WHY NOW
COVID-19 threw already inequitable food distribution networks into turmoil. Rates of food insecurity continue to climb, while farms struggle to get their food to market. Add to that the problems of climate change, wildfires and drought and the problems with our supply chain only intensify.
We've got to work together in this fight to protect harvests and end hunger!
That's why we're focused on providing support to eco-conscious farms while combatting hunger in the short term! But we also have a long term solution ... Farm2People is leveraging our professional relationships to devise better methods for collaboration along the supply chain, from farmer to consumer. We are working to develop AI-driven supply chain innovations to ensure food security and better outcomes for all!
