Farley's Service Dog Training
Donation protected

She has located a service dog training facility called Blue Ridge K9 Training that offers phenomenal dog training, and they train specific to each individual with experience in training service dogs, so in this case, they'd teach him how to detect when blood pressure is lowering and to alert her of it so that she doesn't pass out and injure herself. He'd also be providing mobility support and deep pressure therapy as needed. Training a service dog is not cheap. This specific training is 4 to 6 weeks long and costs $2800.00-- but at the end of it, Farley would be task trained and on his way to becoming a full service dog paired with her.
This is so exciting and honestly would be the BEST possible living situation for him, which is all we want. As much as Daniel and I would love to keep Farley, we can't offer him the rigid structure and well-defined tasks that he needs to be able to live his best life.
If you can spare even $5, it's helpful. Please consider helping Farley find his forever home and have the purpose in his life that he needs to thrive.
*Update: we upped the goal to $3800 because after looking into pricing for the necessary radiographs he will need to be able to do mobility work, it's going to tack on an additional $700-$1000.
