Fari Hara COVID-19 Emergency Food Response Fund

Fari Hara Custom Menswear, a company founded by two immigrants is built on the belief that every man should care about his appearance and as such, we focus on finding sustainable solutions to bridge the gap between confidence and fashion. This has been our focus over the years and we thank you for your patronage and support thus far.
However, we come to you with an even bigger problem to solve; the COVID-19 crisis. Undoubtedly, it has been such a difficult time in our community; more so we recognize the burden this pandemic is placing on individuals, families and the most vulnerable (dependent) citizens amongst us.
While we would like to believe that most of our clientele is somehow managing this tough situation, it is at times like this that the vulnerable community members need our help to provide essentials such as food. Fari Hara has stepped up to the challenge to provide 6,000 meals to our vulnerable communities in Toronto & Calgary. We plan to achieve this objective by raising $12,000 working together with Feed Ontario and Alpha House.
Feed Ontario is a multi-service agency that works to distribute food and unite local food banks to eradicate hunger and poverty. With a network of 130 direct member food banks, they are usually able to provide support for over 1,200 hunger-relief programs across Ontario. But, COVID-19 is a perfect storm of bad conditions: there is a surge in demand for support and food is harder to acquire. Food banks are starting to run out of food and resources.
Our second target is the vulnerable and dependent community members in Calgary Alpha House Society, a non-profit, charitable agency that provides safe and caring environments for individuals whose lives are affected by drug, alcohol and mental illnesses. Your generous donations will help us ensure groceries successfully make it into these shelter homes, while also minimizing exposure to COVID-19.
By combining our efforts, we can provide pre-packed emergency food boxes across Toronto & Calgary to support their communities.

Your donation, big or small, goes a long way. For just $30 (the cost of a box of pizza) you can provide an Emergency Food Box that will supply enough food to feed someone in need for a full week.
Our brand is based on lifestyle and we want to do our best to help everyone return to their normal lives. With your donations we can collectively provide food to those in need, enabling them to stay at home, stay safe and flatten the curve.
Additionally, May is Mental Health Awareness Month. We hope that our collaborative effort to support our vulnerable population will reduce mental stress and agony sourced from worrying about where their next meal will come from.
