Farhan's Fight Breast Cancer

Hello, my name is Nicole and I am fundraising for my strong and beautiful mother, Gerry Farhan. My family and I just received news that she has Stage III, triple, negative, breast cancer.

My mother was referred to a reputable oncologist in Florida by family. She will be leaving her home in NJ to move to Florida for more than 6 months of chemotherapy, radiation, and a possible double mastectomy. The road to recovery is going to be long, arduous, and intrusive. During this time, she will be isolated from most of her friends and family due to her move. This is especially painful during the Holidays. Shortly after she begins treatment, I will be traveling down to Florida to be my mother’s support system.

Let me tell you a little about the person I call mom. She’s a phenomenal sister to five of my aunts, an exceptional wife, extraordinary mother to three, and kick-ass (hehe) grandmother of five. She has always been a caretaker and never asked anything of us in return. Now, however, it is our turn to take care of her.

This news hit our family hard and we are going to fight until we beat this, but financially we are going to need help. One of the most frequently asked questions is, “How can I help?” Aside from texting to check on Gerry and prayer, we will need financial support for:
