Farewelling Aunty Judith Kelly
Donation protected
For more than eight months now, Yamatji and Gidja woman Aunty Judith Kelly, has been fighting hard to stay alive so she can finish the many projects she has underway. She is an author an artist a singer and an activist. A proud mum, nan and friend to so many people. Her life has been one of heartbreak, triumph, challenge and love. She’s one of the most amazing women I’ve ever met.
Sadly, Aunty Jude joined her ancestors in the Dreamtime on Thursday (16 March).
I’m now raising funds to support her family to cover the cost of her funeral in two weeks, including a casket and cremation services.
Dying is expensive in Australia and as a survivor of the Stolen Generation, I don’t want Aunty’s family to have to carry the burden of those costs. Please help with as much or as little as you can so we can give Aunty Jude the send-off she so deserves.
Thank you
