What’s going on everyone, my name is Delonnie Hunt and with a very heavy heart, I’m reaching out to ask for your support as I prepare to say goodbye to my beloved mother, Melissa Richmond. She passed away unexpectedly, and the loss is truly overwhelming and heartbreaking. My mother has been sick since I was 6 years old, I am now 23 and although I was aware of her situation I would’ve never thought I would be in a situation to say goodbye this early to the most important person in my life. My mom wasn’t just my parent—she was my best friend, my greatest supporter, the heart of our family, and my superhero. My mom had a kind soul, a giving spirit, and always found a way to lift others up and light up the room, even in her hardest moments. Now, in our time of grief, I’m hoping to give her the farewell she truly deserves by surrounding her with the ones she touched and sending her off the right way.
